Adopt-a-dog-northeast is a private rescue and re-homing facility.
The rescue is run and was established by Diane Kelly Veterinary nurse of over 25 years, who began taking in stray and abandoned dogs into her own home that where destined to be Destroyed...through no fault of their own.
With help from her daughter, puppy fosterer/rehoming co-ordinator Izzy, Ruth our newest volunteer who spends all her free time helping out with the rescues, and steve who helps everyday to exercise, feed the rescue dogs they strive to find a better life for the abandoned animals that come into their care.
She has since rehomed countless numbers of dogs and on occasion cats to loving familys, aswell as helping other animal charities.
As the ever increasing numbers of rescue animals come and go...we would like to share our experiences and give you a chance to see some of the dogs we have in our care seeking loving family homes.
We receive no funding...except for that of the donation charge applied upon adoption. Which does not cover extensive costs.
